The 3 out of 5 was because they pretty well stock everything you’d ever need, BUT , i did ask an assistant where something was and he was a little grumpy, ( must of had a bad Xmas) and when I went to pay , I asked for a bag , the man on the till was totally un chatty , no banter no nothing!!!! Threw the plastic carrier bag on the counter, I paid , then went to the next person at the checkout who got all his stuff on top of mine !!!! no thank you no manners and no good costumer service!!!!! Do these people get trained?????? He could have put my items into the carrier bag as he rang them up on the till, it’s easy !!!!
It’s polite, it’s how to do it , it’s not rocket science or hard work working on a checkout. I’d be very interested to know if the man was an employee or the owner of the shop ??????

Excellent place! Recently moved back to the area. They stock pretty much anything you think of. I’ve managed to get DIY products, tools and I’ve managed to get the majority of shrubs and plants to replant my garden! Great range. Very impressed! You’ve certainly got a repeat customer here!

We had to buy a new cooker at short notice, as the one which was to be sold with the house was unsafe - we were recommended to go here, and the owner showed us a good range, and all available from stock! At his suggestion, we chose an induction hob, and selected a Hotpoint, which was delivered the next morning, and we were able to arrange installation the next day - and it was well priced, and compared well with Currys. Also the delivery was free, not an additional £30. Well pleased - and yes, you can find some things cheaper of you hunt, but this is a genuine one stop shop and is in Ludlow, where there are not so many of the multiples, so no trip to Shrewsbury or Hereford - factor in that and this shop is pretty good.
Addition to the above - our dishwasher got damaged when it got pulled out, and a visit to Homecare resulted in our being able to purchase a replacement from stock, and which was delivered and installed within 45 minutes - not many retailers could achieve that.

Love this shop whatever you need they sell from garden to electrical to DIY to beds and carpets. Lovely staff will always help. They were amazing when mixing custom paint colours. Sometimes I feel they are a bit pricey and the shop is a bit of a maze. Willing to pay a little extra for a local shop who are dedicated and friendly an go a step beyond to make sure your a happy customer.

We went following a phone call to confirm availability of something we wanted. Parking was a bit tight but inside was a maze of goods that inclined me to go back for a look around. It isn't quite on the doorstep for us but we'll worth considering if you are looking for something for the home.

Purchased a bed in full for just under 700 pounds as they wouldn't take a deposit bed took 3 weeks to come was delivered to the wrong address and the divan wasn't even correct.
Terrible customer service hardly ever answer the phone and didn't even get a sorry when asking for a full refund.
Tried to support local but never again useless would be too nice of a word for them!

An Aladdin's Cave of a place. Amazing breadth of choice for DIY items - tools and parts. Particularly like the quality cookery department. Helpful staff in the gardening section, which has a variety of strong plants and wide ranging garden equipment needs. A great store to visit- but you'll leave with more items than on your list!

Visited the garden store here, plenty of healthy stock and quite a variety of plants and shrubs too. Bigger choice than I expected it to have. My criticism though is that it was quite expensive compared to other garden suppliers, some plants were double the price I had seen elsewhere. It's great if your local and only want a couple of items, but would be costly if you wanted alot of plants.

Tried 3 times to get inside and was shut . 4:10pm ,4:15pm and 4:28pm on three different days and also phoned but no answer.
No sign up to say when open , only for Sat & Sun. Always had good service here may be just a virus upsetting the applecart.

Great service. Good, diverse selection of things anyone might need for their home or/and garden. Sensible reopening with the "new normal" after lockdown. Friendly, helpful staff. My missing star would be that, as they have a monopoly in Ludlow, they can be a tad expensive in some areas... but that would be in the added extras area... which I guess is fine.
